SHERMAN, Texas — Country music star Sara Evans headlines the 32nd annual Hot Summer Nights free concert series tonight, Thursday, June 25, at Lucy Kidd-Key Park in downtown Sherman.

Local artist Greg Guymon opens the show at 7 p.m., with Evans taking the stage around 7:30 p.m. on the Gazebo Stage. The free outdoor concert series runs every Thursday evening through June and July, drawing thousands of residents from across Grayson County.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Food trucks will be available on site, and attendees may bring their own coolers. The Official After Party follows at The Post in downtown Sherman.

Hot Summer Nights is in its 32nd year as one of Sherman's signature community events. Previous performers this season have included Roger Creager and Grupo Bryndis. The series has already drawn more than 10,000 attendees across three shows, according to organizers.

The City of Sherman and local sponsors underwrite the concerts, keeping admission free for the public. For more information, visit the Hot Summer Nights Facebook page.
