Andy Lee has assumed the role of chief executive officer at Crescendo, adding the position to his existing duties as executive chairman. The move is intended to accelerate the growth of the company’s artificial intelligence-focused customer experience platform.

Lee brings extensive leadership experience from his 23-year tenure as CEO of Alorica, a global services organization he founded and expanded to include more than 100,000 employees across 16 countries.

Crescendo, which was co-founded in January 2024 by Lee, Anand Chandrasekaran, Matt Price, and Slava Zhakov, currently supports over 500 AI deployments globally. The platform serves a diverse client base that includes Airtable, Lovepop, Stewart Golf, Cuyana, Headspace, and Grindr. The company offers a suite of tools including AI customer experience assistants, agent assistance software, insights analytics, managed AI services, and brand-aligned support solutions.

The appointment follows a recent strategic partnership between Crescendo and Alorica. Under this agreement, Alorica will integrate Crescendo’s AI-native platform into its offerings for both existing and prospective clients. Lee stated that the collaboration allows the company to leverage his established network to forge similar partnerships with other global systems integrators, thereby expanding enterprise reach.

Market research cited by the company indicates significant growth in the customer experience sector. Fortune Business Insights estimates the global market will reach US$84.22 billion by 2034, up from approximately US$26.11 billion in 2026. Metrigy’s CX MetriCast 2025 study found that 34% of companies use contact center as a service solutions, with a growing demand for AI-native systems that replace fragmented legacy stacks.

Lee emphasized that traditional customer experience stacks are often difficult to adapt. He argued that organizations must rethink their operational foundations to utilize AI effectively. Crescendo aims to help enterprises transition to this new model by providing systems that can understand intent and coordinate work across multiple channels.

Early results from clients highlight the platform’s capabilities. SQUIRE, for example, nearly doubled its support volume to more than 17,000 conversations in six months without increasing case backlogs. The company also reported a 15% year-over-year rise in customer satisfaction scores. Lee noted that the future of customer experience requires a fundamentally different operating model rather than incremental upgrades to older platforms.

Alorica employs about 452 people in Sherman, according to local government records.
