Raising Cane's in Sherman is collaborating with ARFhouse to mark the fast-food chain's 30th anniversary. The local restaurant is selling limited-edition 30th Birthday Plush Puppies for $12.99 each, with sales continuing only while supplies remain. All net proceeds from these specific toy sales will go directly to ARFhouse.
ARFhouse operates as a sanctuary for dogs that have been abandoned or abused. The organization provides medical treatment, spay and neuter services, and temporary housing for these animals until they can be placed in permanent homes. This partnership aligns with the broader Raising Cane's Plush Puppy Program, which introduces a new special-edition toy annually based on the company's namesake.
According to the company, proceeds from the Plush Puppy Program support various pet welfare initiatives both locally and nationwide. The program has donated more than $9 million over the years to causes such as animal rescues, dog parks, and shelters.
