Craig Anderson and Bridgitt Smith of Sherman are being held in the Grayson County Jail after a stabbing occurred in Denison on Saturday. Anderson faces an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge, while Smith is charged with hindering apprehension and making a false report.
Deputies discovered an adult male with stab wounds along FM 1753. The victim was taken to a local hospital, though his condition remains unknown. Authorities stated that Anderson and the victim had an argument before Anderson followed the victim's vehicle, approached it when it stopped, and stabbed the passenger multiple times.
Anderson fled the scene but was later taken into custody. Smith was arrested for providing false information to law enforcement during the investigation.
