Dallas could be without four defensive players when the Cowboys meet the Ravens in Rio de Janeiro on Sept. 27. The team is scheduled to depart Sept. 24 for a 10-hour flight to Brazil, while the El Paso Times reported the injury developments and Jerry Jones' remarks.
Cornerback Cobie Durant, who has a hamstring strain, and safety PJ Locke, who tore the plantar fascia in his foot, are expected to miss several weeks. Coach Brian Schottenheimer said Dallas has not decided whether either player will go on injured reserve. Linebacker DeMarvion Overshown has a hamstring strain, and safety Malik Hooker has a broken forearm.
Neither had been cleared after missing the game against Washington. Schottenheimer said the shorter week could make their availability harder to determine, with the first official injury report due Sept. 23. Von Miller's role for the game was not clearly described.
