The Dallas Cowboys have signed quarterback Joe Milton to their practice squad after his recent release. Milton was let go earlier in the week when he lost out to Sam Howell for the backup quarterback role behind Dak Prescott.

Milton became a free agent after going unclaimed on waivers, allowing the Cowboys to move forward with Howell, who expressed his enthusiasm for the backup position and his dedication to the team's success.

Alongside Milton's return, the Cowboys made additional roster changes, including the signing of running back Emari Demercado from the Kansas City Chiefs. Demercado's former coach, Andy Reid, commended his abilities, especially in pass protection and finding running lanes. Camden Brown also made the final roster, learning of his selection through social media, a method he described as unique.

Quinnen Williams, now in his second season with the Cowboys, remarked on the team's growth, particularly on defense, citing significant improvements since the last season and a positive shift in team culture and mindset. Further details on the team's strategy and player performance remain unclear.
