The Houston Texans could see wide receiver Nico Collins and right guard Ed Ingram return Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. Coach DeMeco Ryans said both players have a chance to play after sitting out Houston’s previous two games, and the team is hopeful they can take part in the Week 4 matchup.
Collins, a Pro Bowl selection and three-time 1,000-yard receiver, has been missing from a Houston passing attack that has struggled to generate production outside. Dalton Schultz has been the main exception. Xavier Hutchinson led the Texans during the past two contests with nine receptions totaling 120 yards. In an earlier game against the Buffalo Bills, Collins recorded seven receptions, 75 yards and a touchdown.
Ingram’s absence has put Wyatt Teller at right guard. Houston has produced 130 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown over its last two games. Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, sidelined by a knee injury and regarded as week-to-week, remains out of the update on possible returns.
