Roberts powers Missouri

222 rushing yards from Jamal Roberts carried Missouri to a 27-6 victory over visiting Texas A&M on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, at Memorial Stadium in Columbia, Missouri. Roberts scored twice, including a 2-yard run in the third quarter and a 54-yard touchdown run in the fourth, as the Tigers finished with 27 points.

Missouri led the scoring 27-6 and held Texas A&M to two field goals. The Tigers improved to 5-1, while the Aggies fell to 3-3.

Aggies strike first

Texas A&M opened the scoring in the first period when David Olano made a 53-yard field goal for a 3-0 lead. Missouri answered in the second period. Austin Simmons connected with Cayden Lee on a 32-yard touchdown pass, with Blake Craig adding the kick for a 7-3 Tigers advantage.

Craig then made a 50-yard field goal, sending Missouri into halftime with a 10-3 lead. The Tigers’ quarter-by-quarter scoring was 0, 10, 10 and 7, while Texas A&M scored 3, 0, 0 and 3.

Missouri pulls away

Craig added a 51-yard field goal in the third period to make it 13-3. Roberts followed with his 2-yard touchdown run, and Craig’s kick extended Missouri’s lead to 20-3.

Olano made a 27-yard field goal for Texas A&M in the fourth period, cutting the margin to 20-6. Roberts’ 54-yard touchdown run and Craig’s extra point completed the scoring at 27-6.

By the numbers

Roberts carried 34 times for 222 yards and two touchdowns. Lee had seven receptions for 94 yards and one touchdown. Simmons completed 14 of 28 passes for 147 yards, one touchdown and one interception for Missouri.

For Texas A&M, Marcel Reed went 19 of 39 for 187 yards and two interceptions. KJ Edwards ran six times for 20 yards, and TK Norman had three receptions for 55 yards. Attendance at Memorial Stadium was 63,609.
