Opening Blast Sets Tone

Wyatt Langford provided the early spark for the Texas Rangers, launching a home run on the very first pitch of the contest. The 418-foot shot to left field in the first inning gave Texas a 1-0 lead, establishing an early advantage at Fenway Park.

Second-Inning Surge

The Rangers' offense exploded in the second inning, capitalizing on opportunities to take control of the game. Josh Foscue and Nathaniel Lowe reached base, setting the stage for Michael Freese, who homered to left-center field (381 feet) to drive in three runs. This blast extended Texas's lead to 4-0.

Boston attempted to respond in the same frame. Adolis Garcia homered to left field (337 feet), cutting the deficit to 4-1. Shortly after, Jonah Heim grounded out to first base, allowing Durbin to score and making it 4-2.

Rangers Extend Lead

Texas added to its margin in the fourth inning. Michael Langford doubled to center field, driving in two runs as Osuna and Langford scored. The play pushed the Rangers' lead to 6-2, effectively putting the game out of reach.

Boston managed to score in the sixth inning when Garcia homered to left-center field (392 feet), making the score 6-3. The Red Sox added another run in the eighth inning when Abreu singled to right field, allowing Yoshida to score. The final score was 6-4.
