This weekly housing report covers Sherman, TX, in the Sherman-Denison region for sherman.city. By the numbers

Freddie Mac's Primary Mortgage Market Survey put the average 30-year fixed-rate mortgage at 6.49% as of July 9, 2026, up from 6.43% a week earlier and below 6.72% a year earlier.

Redfin's year-over-year sales count increased from 188 to 189. Redfin average days on market fell from about 85 days to 79 days. Redfin's median sale price was down 8.1% from a year earlier.
