Children can wear costumes and collect treats inside the Sherman Public Library on Thursday, Oct. 22, when the library holds its annual Trick or Treat Village from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The library calls the event a longtime community favorite. It is aimed at children 12 and under, and no tickets or sign-ups are needed.
It is one of a string of free programs on the library's October calendar at 421 N. Travis St., several with a Halloween theme. None require registration.
