Sherman, Texas — The Cowboys have added Will Grier to their offensive staff, moving the former quarterback into a coaching post before camp.
Sherman-area Cowboys supporters will see Grier join the offensive staff when camp starts next week.
The move reunites him with Brian Schottenheimer and Dak Prescott in the Cowboys organization.
The July 24 announcement followed Grier’s retirement from playing. ESPN reported that his decision came July 15 after an offseason spent with the Panthers.
Grier entered the NFL as Carolina’s 2019 third-round choice. His two earlier Dallas stops centered mainly on preseason work and practice squads.
