Texas A&M's edge rusher Anto Saka has made it onto The Athletic's 2026 "Freaks List," an annual ranking of college football's most exceptional athletes, as announced by the school on Monday. Bruce Feldman, who compiles the list, characterized Saka as "the freakiest of a very gifted D-line room."
Saka stands at 6-foot-4 and weighs 255 pounds, wearing jersey number 14. He is a graduate student from Baltimore, having transferred to College Station from Northwestern. He is part of a defensive line that also includes Sam M'Pemba, a redshirt junior from Georgia who measures 6-foot-3 and 257 pounds.
The Freaks List highlights remarkable athletic testing results reported by strength coaches, focusing on physical ability rather than game performance. Texas A&M did not disclose Saka's specific ranking on the list.
This announcement comes as the Aggies are in the midst of Fall Camp, with their season opener scheduled for September 5 at Kyle Field.
