A group of people found a body near Herman Baker Park in Sherman on Thursday evening, and police later identified the man as 32-year-old Dustyn Martyn.
Martyn had not been seen since July 25 and had been missing for more than a week. His body was in an area southwest of Herman Baker Park.
Police activity was visible in a field close to Silverton and Sandstone Drive, near the Brooks on Heritage apartment complex.
Police said Martyn’s relatives have been informed. The case remains active, and further details were not provided.
