Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins will miss Sunday’s meeting with the Indianapolis Colts because of a hamstring injury, according to sports.yahoo.com, which cited NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. The injury is a Grade 1 strain Collins sustained at practice last week. He also missed Houston’s 20-6 loss to Cincinnati, leaving the Texans without their leading receiving threat for a second consecutive game.

Houston scored six points against the Bengals and enters the game at 0-2. Indianapolis is also 0-2, with both teams seeking their first victory of the season.
Dalton Schultz may have a larger role for Houston. He made 12 catches on 14 targets for 140 yards against Cincinnati, including eight catches in the fourth quarter. Through two games, Schultz has 16 receptions totaling 175 yards, the most on the Texans.
Houston could also turn to additional tight ends or its rushing attack. David Montgomery and Woody Marks had limited results against Cincinnati, where Texans running backs gained 1.5 yards per carry. The Colts have surrendered 354 rushing yards at 5.4 yards per carry.
