Ryan Flournoy is expected to stay with the Dallas Cowboys through 2027 after agreeing to a reported one-year extension worth $6 million. The contract is expected to be signed this week.

Dallas waived the wide receiver during its initial roster reductions in 2025, but he cleared waivers and rejoined the organization through the practice squad. That move replaced his original four-year rookie contract, leaving him with three years on the replacement deal and a potential restricted-free-agent season afterward.

The extension means Flournoy will not enter restricted free agency following the 2026 season. He was selected by Dallas in the sixth round of the 2024 draft. The agreement comes before the Cowboys’ regular-season opener against the New York Giants and follows what the team called a breakout 2025 season.

It gives Flournoy additional contract seasons in 2026 and 2027, with a longer-term deal still possible later. Dallas also agreed to a three-year extension with tight end Brevyn Spann-Ford.
