The Houston Texans have brought tight end Louis Hansen back onto their roster. This is Hansen's second stint with the team, having first joined in June before being waived in late July. His return did not require any corresponding roster changes.
Hansen, who went undrafted in April, played college football at both the University of Michigan and the University of Connecticut. During his collegiate career, he achieved 46 receptions for 463 yards and scored four touchdowns across 40 games.
The Texans' current tight end lineup includes Dalton Schultz, Foster Moreau, second-round draft pick Marlin Klein, Cade Stover, Brevin Jordan, and Layne Pryor. Details regarding Hansen's specific role with the team have yet to be disclosed.
