The Houston Texans have signed cornerback Bryce Hall to enhance their roster as they prepare for a preseason matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. General manager Nick Caserio confirmed the signing on August 17, following Hall's workout with the team.

At 28 years old, Hall brings experience from his time with the New York Jets and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was selected in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, taken 158th overall. Throughout his career, Hall has started in 26 out of 40 games, recording 122 total tackles, two interceptions, one fumble recovery, one defensive touchdown, and half a sack.

Standing at 6-foot-1, he is expected to add versatility and contribute to special teams, an area where the Texans are looking to improve.

Currently, the Texans are dealing with injury issues in their secondary, with players like Tank Dell and Brevin Jordan unable to practice due to various injuries. This situation makes Hall's signing timely as he aims to provide depth and experience to the team. Further updates on the Texans' roster and injury situation are expected as the preseason continues.
