Scoring Breakdown
Texas opened the scoring in the first period with a 9-yard touchdown run by Brown, followed by a kick from Gianni Spetic to take a 7-0 lead. Tennessee responded later in the quarter with a 33-yard field goal by Cooper Ranvier, cutting the deficit to 7-3 at halftime.
Texas extended its advantage in the second period when Spetic added a 22-yard field goal, making the score 10-3.
