The company completed its latest and only disclosed funding round, a Series C, on October 2, 2024. Three institutional investors participated in this round, which is the sole funding event listed for the company.
The firm is led by a team of four co-founders. Matt Price serves as Chief Executive Officer, while Anand Chandrasekaran holds the position of President. Slava Zhakov is the Chief Technology Officer, and Andy Lee is also listed as a co-founder. The company was incorporated in the United States on November 30, 2023, and is currently active with a Central Index Number of 2695474.
Crescendo describes itself as an AI-native customer support platform that integrates conversational AI with human assistance. As of July 2025, the company reports having between one and ten employees. In terms of market position, Crescendo is ranked 53rd among competitors in its sector. It has acquired PartnerHero but has not made any external investments to date.
The competitive landscape includes several well-funded rivals. Dialpad, based in San Ramon, leads the list with $476 million in total funding.
