North Texas will play 13 nonconference games in 2026-27, with nine scheduled at the Super Pit in Denton. The schedule was released by North Texas Athletics and second-year head coach Daniyal Robinson.
The Mean Green's road schedule includes a Nov. 20 game at App State in Boone, North Carolina, and the Snake Rivers Invitational in Idaho Falls, Idaho, from Nov. 27 through Nov. 29. The listed opponents at the event are Drake, North Dakota State and Boise State.
North Texas will also face Texas State on Dec. 13 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth during the Coast-to-Coast Challenge, marking the program's second consecutive appearance in the event.
Home games begin Nov. 2 against Southwest Christian, followed by McNeese on Nov. 5, Santa Clara on Nov. 11 and South Alabama on Nov. 14. McNeese and Santa Clara reached the 2025-26 NCAA Tournament, while South Alabama appeared in the NIT. Overall, the schedule features three opponents from the previous NCAA Tournament and two from the NIT.
The remaining home games are Bradley on Dec. 4, Mississippi Valley State on Dec. 6, Winthrop on Dec. 16, Bethune-Cookman on Dec. 20 and the University of the Southwest on Dec. 22.
