Otto Lopez delivered the decisive blow in the eighth inning with a home run to left center, measuring 427 feet. The blast extended the Miami Marlins' lead to 4-1, as it also drove in Navarreto. Lopez had already contributed earlier in the game, recording another multi-hit performance.
