Coherent Corp., a photonics company listed on the New York Stock Exchange, has announced plans to reveal its new PhotonLink platform at the 2026 European Conference on Optical Communication. The event is scheduled for September 21, 2026, at the Gran Hotel Miramar in Malaga, Spain. The conference is described as the largest and most prestigious gathering in Europe for optical communications and photonics.
The PhotonLink platform is designed for integrated optics, covering the full optical signal chain from light generation and beam shaping to transmission, detection, and conversion to electrical signals for processor or switch chips. The company states that the platform supports co-packaged optics, near-packaged optics, and other forms of optical integration.
It leverages Coherent’s photonic technology portfolio and manufacturing capabilities to support next-generation datacenter architectures aimed at improving bandwidth, performance, and energy efficiency.
Presentations will be delivered in person and via live webcast by Coherent’s CEO Jim Anderson, EVP and CTO Dr. Julie Eng, and EVP of Semiconductor Devices Dr. Beck Mason. The live webcast will be accessible through the company’s Investor Relations website. In-person attendance is subject to availability due to limited seating, and submitting an RSVP form does not guarantee admission.
Confirmed attendees will receive a separate confirmation.
